Dreaming of doing ceramics at home

Hey all!

An episode of me convincing myself to not buy things.

I think I mentioned in my first post that I've been doing pottery lately. I got started by taking a tester session at my local pottery studio, and then did 3 short weekly courses over the past few months. Now, after finishing up on the third course, I have joined the studio as a member, starting in August. There's been a bit of time in between finishing the course and until August, so I find myself dreaming as usual about being able to do pottery at home...

I know I'm a beginner and will be for a while, and I know I shouldn't commit large amounts of money to buying expensive equipment... Anyway, it doesn't stop me planning and dreaming; I don't have to enact any of these plans!

Starting again for the nth time

 Hey all/anyone,

After having a million iterations of blog over the past 20 years, here I am again with a 'new' blog. I did try and blog on ko-fi earlier this year, but I have to say that I'm not a fan of the way the blog posts are previewed in the ko-fi feed - there aren't any images in the preview!

Anyway, for anyone who stumbles upon this page and doesn't know me, I'm a UX/UI Artist in games by day, and then some sort of art and craft magpie in my spare time which comes in drips and drabs here and there... aside from arts and crafts, I do get up to some cooking and baking here and there. I'll probably paste over some of my recipes from my ko-fi page over to here as I might just delete ko-fi anyway 😌

I hope in the coming months I will be sharing various posts with updates on artwork, pottery, and textiles here and there; but we'll have to see, as I don't have a good track record these days with keeping things up to date. I also have been saying for the past year that I want to get my art/craft online shop back up and running, so we will see about that - not sure what platform to go with (if any) as I know Etsy haven't been very nice to their sellers lately.
